아직 오필리아를 잊지 않은 그대들께

To those who have not forgotten Ophelia yet

 

마지막으로 업데이트를 한 이후로, 달라진 것은 없습니다. 여전히 음악을 다시 할 여건이 안되며,그렇지만 동시에 음악을 다시 할 의지를 놓치 않고 있습니다.

Since last update was done, nothing has changed. Our circumstances still do not allow to do music together. At the same time, we still keep the will to do it again.

 

그동안 어떠한 이유로 Bandcamp에 음악을 올리는 것을 주저했습니다만, 현재 <당신의 환상을 동정하라> 앨범 재발매 계획이 없는 상황이기에, Bandcamp를 통해서라도 음원으로의 접근 경로를 제공하는 것이 최선이라는 생각을 하게 되었습니다. 며칠 내로 Bandcamp 사이트에 음원을 업로드 하겠습니다.

We have not decided to upload the album Do Sympathize with Your Phantasy on Bandcamp previously due to some reason. Now, we agree the need of uploading the album on Bandcamp to improve the accessibility of the album which are not planned to be released currently. Uploading will be done within few days.

 

가끔 국내와 국외에서 저희 음악에 대한 감상이나, 안부 인사를 받곤 합니다. 오필리아의 음악을지지해주셔서 항상 감사합니다. 그리고 여러분이 기대하는 반가운 소식을 드리지 못해서 미안합니다.

Sometimes We get appreciation and greetings about the music of Ophelia both in Korean and English. We deeply appreciate you who support the music of Ophelia. Moreover, we fell sorry that good news which you may expect is not able to be announced yet.

2015년, 오필리아의 시계는 멈추었습니다. 3가지 사실을 전달하고자 합니다.

The Ophelia’s watch has been turned off in 2015. We would like to share three announcements.

.  

1. 현재 오필리아는 더 이상 활동을 할 수 없는 상황입니다. Ophelia has recently been deactivated.

멤버들의 생활이 물리적으로 흩어져서 한 시공간에서 같이 음악을 할 수 없게 되었습니다. 우리의 잘못은 아닙니다. 다만, 우리의 의지에서 벗어난 불운한, 불가항력적인 상황입니다.

Lives of each member are physically dispersed; our time and space does not allow playing music together. It is not our fault. It is something inevitable, uncontrollable, and unfortunate, out of our will.

2. 오필리아는 분명히 되돌아올 것입니다. Ophelia must return back, certainly.

우리의 음악은 계속 발전하고 있습니다. 훌륭한 음악을 만들 능력이 여전히 있습니다. 아직 해야 할 이야기가 남아있습니다. 오필리아를 포기한 적은 없습니다. 언제, 어떤 형태로 돌아올지 알 수 없으나, 분명 새로운 음악을 발표하고 활동을 하리라 낙관합니다.

Our music has been progressed continuously. Our musical capacity is still abundant to write a good music. Our stories that we would like to speak still remain. We have never given up Ophelia. We guarantee that we will publish new music and perform lives in future even though we don’t know when and how.

3. 오필리아의 역사를 자랑스러워하며 기록을 남깁니다. The achievements of Ophelia are recorded with the respect for the history.

비록 뜻대로 이루어지지 못했지만, 자랑스러워할 역사였습니다. 여기까지 온 것을 자축하며, 또한 오필리아의 미래를 위해서 우리의 역사를 기록합니다. 그리고 다시 오필리아의 시계를 돌릴 그 날을 기대해주세요.

Ophelia’s achievements are respectable and memorable history even though they don’t satisfy our expectation. We celebrate the achievements and record the history for the future of Ophelia. Finally, the Ophelia’s watch will be turned on again.
